So can anyone walk me through how to go about being marked as private at the hospital? I want just me and my husband the first night and only certain visitors the remainder of the stay. I don't want certain family there due to drama I had when I had my daughter. Do I just tell them that when I check in for my c section?

When you check in they will usually ask you for a list. Or you can do what my friend did and scream at the nurse "don't let anybody in here but my husband or else". lmao

I'm doing the same. At my hospital, you tell the check in lady a "password" and unless the person asking to visit you says the password the ladies are required to say you're not a patient there. It'll make it easier though if you only tell those select few that your actually delivering. Assuming you'll trust they'll keep it a secret as you wish. 😊

Well technically it's a birthing center, not a hospital, so it may be different.

just tell your nurses that you only want certain visitors and give them a list of names. if they aren't on that list they won't be allowed in the room

last time I had sooooooo many visitors. and after my c section. my brother had baby mama drama and my dad got butt hurt cause I didn't want him up there drunk and he wasn't even supposed to know but his ex wife and my little sister posted pictures all over Facebook...I just want peace this time. I'll ask how they go about that.
