you should search online to see how much it'll cost to havs your things delievered.. from fl to ny and vise versa.. its about 1500... you also have to find out roughly how much rent would be in TX... again.. you can search online.. and how will you guy's be getting there? take in account the cost for gas and food if driving.. if your flying flight prices.. take have money for a couple months of rent bc you never want to be behind on rent... and utilities..

@mommybug we would drive our stuff there using a uhaul, gas in my dodge ram I had from Texas to Alabama was $60 one way as per rent no more that $650 I've looked its a very smal town:) I plan to try to have jobs lined up before we move since I'll be back in my home town but I will definitely need to check the prices, thank you:)

find prices for uhaul.. they usually have a flat rate of i believe 1600 out of state.. you will still need food to eat when you guys get there and i would still have rent and utilities money in advance in case jobs fall through.. you never know..

Since you'd be driving across state uhaul will charge you a flat rate, not mileage. We got charged a little over $700 to drive from Arizona to Louisiana, roughly 1,300 miles.

@mommybug that would be perfect still around 4400 left which would be rent for a couple of months and food, not to mention tax season would be real close also together we normal get around 5/6000 and that's without claiming our baby thank you so much

@ginabee93 perfect from where we are to port neches is only 545 miles, is there a way to check the price online?

call uhaul rather than search to get exact pricing.. and you're welcome.. when i called uhaul my flat rate was in the thousands and i never mentioned how far i was going.. so idk @ginabee93 mentioned around 700$.. i would def call though

Like @mommybug said definitely call, so they can give you a better number. I don't know if the price and rates differ in different states.
