Getting induced wednesday! if i even make it that long...dilated to a 2 and baby is at a -2 station! hoping to make it to Wednesday just so i can have everything planned out with my 2 year old. he came on his own..can anyone tell me what to expect with being induced?? i am a little nervous..

I know some women who powered through it but I had contractions every minute with no let down in between and after 3 hours of that I was like screw this get me the happy man 😂😂😂 I was crying and shouting where's the happy man?!?? The nurses thought it was funny but I was being dead serious lol

Got induced with my first they tried just breaking my water and that didn't work she was at 0 station and 100% effaced at 5cm when they did but they had to start pitocin. It hurt like heck and I ended up getting an epidural because I just needed a break I had been in active labor for 2 weeks and I was just worn out and done. With this next one if they have to do pitocin I'm just going to request and epidural at the very beginning and then have them start the pitocin lol!!
I thought being induced was easier and smoother
my labor was so fast with my first the epidural didnt take. so painful it was miserable. im hoping being induced makes it go a lot smoother lol @mw1620

I'm dilated to 3 and I get induced next Friday, when you get induced they just brake your water for you, everyone's body is different, I've heard that being induced it takes longer but then my sister got induced and dilated faster! good luck I know I'm so happy and excited I'm sure you are!

for you mommy's asking 39 weeks is the NATIONWIDE standard for induction you can ask to be induced at 39 weeks if B makes it to 39 weeks I will be induced

Nooo joke!! When I went into labor the first time I had no idea everything was great I had zero pain and it felt like a breeze but they stopped me because I was in preterm at 32 weeks and when they did that they stopped the dilation but not the contractions so my body was fighting itself trying to kick start dilation it was the most miserable 2 weeks of my life. Never again will I let them stop labor after 32 weeks. I got so sick because of it. Babies are so painful but so cute and squishy!!!!
