Think I've decided to start breastfeeding last minute. What are the necessities ?

Pillow. I use the Boppy and love it. Storage bags. I leak like crazy so pads! Cream never worked for me :/

I agree no shields unless inverted nipples. Breast pads, pump, nipple cream, storage bags. But I started pumping after two weeks helped with my supply for when I went back to work at 3 months. Was pumping 10 oz a session in about 12/15 mins. Also I LOVED my nursing pillow. I have 5 kids already and breastfeed til 18 months. I'm sure you'll get a groove for what works for you.

Only essential is your boobs. Nipple shield should only be used if you have inverted nipples. Breast pump, use after 6 weeks pp and then ony once a day. I, personally, never used my breastfeeding pillow, it was a waste of money.

breast pump, nursing pads, and feeding pillow. and extra bottles to pit the milk in. and if u want, breastmilk frezer bags to store the extra milk.
