having a really hard week...first, i found out my cervix is trying to shrink. i have had 2 LEEPS and a cone biopsy between 2009-2012 due to precancerous cells, so my cervix was feared to be incompetent. so yesterday my Dr measured, its went from 4cm to only 2.1cm. so i have to be on pelvic rest till we measure it next week. then today i get a call that they got my glucose test results back (the orange drink) and its high. they want it around 135, mine was 185. so i call tomorrow to schedule a follow up 3hr test, have to fast 12 hours prior. all this plus career stress (im a non union verizon employee so its insane right now) have me really really anxious...anyone have experience with either of those issues??

I had the leep also and my cervix was at 2.1 at my anatomy scan at 19+3. We did cervical length checks every two weeks and progesterone suppositories and cervix had no change. I'm now almost 32 weeks!! Good luck!!

my cervix is at 2.5 I had to have a cerclage placed. But it's too late for u to get one don't have sex it can make u go in to labor any kind of orgasm. Try and rest as much as possible

wow im so sorry...it sucks when it feels like your body betrays you. what caused yours to start shrinking?? im hoping they dont put me on bed rest, im supposed to go back home to wv (currently 3hrs away in ohio) last weekend of the month for my baby shower, plus next month for my boyfriends bday we had concert tickets. but if thats what it takes to keep my baby safe ill do it of course...luckily i work cust service from home so should be able to work since its just sitting in a chair...i hope yours stays put! im gonna ask about steroids in case my guy comes early..gotta get thru this glucose test and my cervical measuring next week too...

prayers to you. I'm only 26 weeks so it's very dangerous for me to go into labor right now at least your 29 already. your not alone!

my cervix has gone from four cm to .73 and it went down .5 just in the last week. I'm on pelvic and bed rest. all my other test came back okay but was having contractions so was put on progesterone and given steroid shots just in case she comes early her lungs will be developed.

thanks. had so much stress today now my belly kinda hurts n my back n im achey all over...def need to destress. 29 weeks today tho so thats always something

I really don’t think people get it. I got asked how many ultrasounds I was going to have this pregnancy. And to be honest it’s more than I would like to have. Dating scan was yesterday, NT scan is in three weeks and starting at 16 weeks I’ll have monthly ultrasounds to measure my Cervix. Apparently I’m ungrateful and lucky. 🙄 There is nothing lucky about having to constantly worry about how long you’ll stay pregnant for.

Went to the hospital for some pain and I found out my son is measuring small according to my last ultrasound.. He is in the 6th percentile they said.. I have to go to my doctor tomorrow. I had no idea the OB on call could see my ultrasound results from my check up. Has anyone else's baby measure small then be okay? I don't know a lot yet because I wasn't able to see my doctor as its Sunday, so I only got the doctor on call information. He really just said it is important that I go in tomorrow. Kind of scared right now!

okay so I tested earlier this afternoon just cause I haven't felt great really tired and then have been getting really hot and nausea but haven't gotten sick. my stomach this last week has been funny idk how to explain it? though maybe it was just a bug or something well I tested and forgot about my test... I found it like this does it look faint positive? I'm going to retest in a couple of days because this is my ovulation week??
