♦️Question♦️ I'm starting to introduce self feeding to my 8mo old. She only has two teeth. (Although those top two little suckers are almost in 🙏🏼). Up until now I've been feeding her pretty much just purées from a spoon, but now I would like to get her started on feeding herself with her hands. Do any of you have any recommendations on foods to start out with? Is this only even though she only has two teeth? I'm assuming it as long as whatever I make for her is super mushy then she should be fine..

Oh and bananas too. But Mia is big into meat lol she will eat hamburger and Salisbury steak and meatloaf any day lol
My doctor said eggs were a good thing to start with unless there is an egg allergy in the family. You know those dole diced peaches my daughter lovesss those and they are easy to chew

Are you looking into baby snacks or food? Cause for Pay, I just cut food up really small and put it on her tray and she does fine. She has been on solids for a while. Actual solids cause she doesn't like purées. So whatever I have for dinner, she has, it's just cut into small pieces. And for snacks, she doesn't like the puffs cause they're super mushy. So I cut up fruit and put on her tray and she loves it. She also loves the lil crunchies.

@edomke, do you make them yourself? I've bought the puffs, and I hate that there are so many chemicals. I'm interested in making them myself, but I need a good recipe! 😊
The puffs for sure are great because they melt decently fast as well as the yogurt melts. My son loves those two
Is orajel the only thing you mommas use for teething? Lol cause my mom told me when she didn't have any, that she would rub a lil tequila in my gums. Lol I told her now I know who to blame for loving liquor lol

I have a one year old with lices and i didnt now some girls she was playing with had them and now she has some i dont now if i should take her so i can get medicine for the lies and i just check her and she has a alot and it bothers me that she straches her self ... has any one had a problem what can i use ??
