Huh I'll definitely have to try a food diary. I've had to solely pump and give my baby bottles of my breastmilk because she wasn't gaining weight so we had to measure everything but it made my dates weird and I couldn't exactly pin point what I ate what day but i just started keeping track. Thank you!!!! @mandapanda2000

@delaneyhack, well my son had a bad reaction to dairy when i ate it, first you know its a reaction ti the food you ate if sypmtoms arise in your baby about 3-4 hours after feeding him. then sypmtoms are usually rash , upset stomach, diarrhea and or off normal poop and vomit or increased spitting up. mine had increased spitting up and the shits along with minor irritation rash on butt. id make a food journal and then go off dairy for a while and see if the rash and diarrhea clears up. thats all i had to do was get rid of dairy and he got all better, makes since though i was lactose intolerant when i was younger

No, however, if your baby has an intolerance to the proteins in certains foods, such as dairy, soy, gluten, eggs etc. then yes it does. An allergy will usuallyshow up in more than just a rash on the butt. What you est will not give baby gas.
