my son will be 4 months in two weeks. I BF and he gets formula when I'm at work which would be 4 hours a day. My son is used to comfort feeding he can't fall asleep without my boob. Not unless he is super tired and rocked to sleep. So of course anyone who watches him has a hard time :( I feed bad for him and anyone who is watching him. A lot of ppl suggested for me to just give him a bottle so it won't be so hard for him. Any thoughts to this?
@mommabeardurso, that would be actually my next post. I've tried pumping and he reacts the same way to the bottle. I've switched nipples and the current one I have is actually working better than the previous one.
See if he will take a pacifier after the bottle for comfort.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Yeah I use to work 8-10 hours over night and she would only take maybe 3 oz of my milk. I never tried giving her formula though. Basically as long as she was gaining weight I was ok. She ate all day long to make up for it. Eventually though I did quit my job, it's so hard to take care of a baby with no sleep. Try other nipples.
