anyone else's baby measuring small? I was told yesterday by a maternal specialist that my baby is a small at 3lbs 3oz at 31 weeks. my fundal height has been good and my OB hasn't told me that there's anything wrong even after I told him what the specialist has to say. the specialist I'm seeing always makes me feel like I should be concerned about her size. I'm so confused and just need reassurance I guess.

My daughter was small like that too an was perfectly healthy. My doctor ended up taking her out at 38 weeks via c-section (she was breech). When she was born she was only 5lbs 6oz 20 1/4inchs. My doctor said that she stopped growing an she was in the 4th percentile for weight for how far along I was. She's now going to be 7months Thursday an is 18lbs!!!

@aubreesmommy091415, thank you for your comment. I've been a little stressed out because I've watched my sister push out two 9lbs babies. but I'm sure my baby is just a really small baby and I should probably be relieved considering I plan to deliver naturally.

I'm sure everything is okay. @erin.c my doctor said there might have been something wrong with my placenta which could have caused her to stop gaining weight. An I understand I myself was a 9 pound baby I thought I would have a big baby but I guess not. Lol
