I think that is Aurora and their aim to see as many patients as possible, so I never blamed the doctor for that. I tend to have to wait around more at HFM but my doctor will literally sit and talk to me as long as I want and really seems to respect my requests. I only met one of the other Aurora OBs and wasn't thrilled with her, but I think it was a personality clash. I love 2 out of the 3 OBs at HFM, and the midwife is super sweet (started out with her but I ended up being too high risk). I'm fairly comfortable with who ever is on call when I go into labor.
If you haven't picked out a peds doctor, I highly suggest Dr. Hester Diaz through Aurora though, I was sad to switch my daughter to a new one but figure it is easier to have the three of us within the same system with my history of issues that may be genetic!
I didn't have anything against my OB (Dr. Winga) but I try to avoid Aurora because it is kind of a monopoly health care center. I also feel like I should have received testing that I asked for but was refused, but to be fair they didn't have enough evidence at the time to understand what was going on with me medically.
If you are having a normal healthy pregnancy, you might not be having another one. I've had one monthly since the second trimester, and now weekly, but I'm a type 1 diabetic.
