Yes you will still bleed. It may not be as much as a vaginal birth, but you will. I'm 10 days post partum and I'm still bleeding a little.

In the hospital I wore the awesome mesh underwear they provide. For home I got Hanes premium women's boyfriend boxer briefs. I got a size bigger than I would normally need so that they wouldn't be tight and would come up over the incision.

I'm not sure if they do strep b if you plan on having a c-section . But if it just happens yes, they will do the test a few weeks before ur due date. And I bled heavily for 2.5 weeks after my c-section. I would go through the overnight pads in a few hours . Make sure you have underwear that you don't really care about because I know a few of mine got ruined . It would happen when I would adjust myself in bed and nurse the baby.@lilbabyboy16

I'm 11 days pp and I'm still bleeding mostly while breastfeeding. I work a lot of boy shorts for undies. Something comfy that won't mess with the incision.

I did strep b because we didn't know I had to have a c section. I'm 4 weeks pp and I'm still bleeding a little, but nowhere near the first few days. they push all of it out of you, and suction it out before surgery is over too
