I'm planning on taking my maternity leave when I'm 34 weeks, does anyone think this is early? I've seen a lot of people going to 36 or 38 :/
I went on Mat leave at 34 weeks, I had holidays to take and my mat pay started at 37 weeks which was okay because I was induced at 38, it all depends on you and how your coping working xx
Totally depends on what you do and how you feel @briony1994 I'm leaving at 38 weeks (Friday!!!) as I wanted to have as much time as possible at the other end but it's been tough! You'll know what's best for you and baby xx
Thanks Hun, sorry to hear how she treated you tho! Hope you and little one are ok @holliesinead xx
@briony1994, she only told me a few days before so said she couldn't change it she was awful to me for last couple of months but I'm not going back just do what you feel is right for you and your baby regardless if how Early or late everyone starts I think it's a personal choice I was a nanny so kind of glad I finished earlier xx
I'd love my work to be like that, I've not even had 1 risk assessment done since being pregnant and my work place isn't exactly a safe environment @natroberts88 xx
@briony1994 yeah they have been pretty good to be fair. Although the constant checking up gets annoying at times 😂😂 xx
Thanks girls!! @holliesinead that's horrible! Surely she can't do that to you!! I would of said something if I was you, that's wrong :/ hope your ok!!!
@natbat87 @becca2716 @winterbaby95 @justclaireee xx
@briony1994, I was supposed to be working until 38 weeks but decided to bring it forward to 36 weeks! I'm 34 weeks now and I wish I'd brought it forward to now! I'm so uncomfortable! I'd say 34 weeks is a brilliant time xxxx
I went at 3o not because I wanted to but my boss gave me no choice I asked to start at 35 weeks but take my holiday I needed to use a week before so would have started it at 34 but she started it without asking me first so left me no choice but I think 34 weeks is perfectly fine to start it if that's what your body wants xx
No :) 34 weeks is fine :) I finished college at 34 weeks. Different to working...I could've stayed longer. But I wanted to have some time to focus on just bubba xx
I'm leaving my job as a Carer on Friday I will be 34 weeks. Defiantly not to early for me I'm really struggling this week but everyone is different. You can always say you want to leave at 36 weeks and if it's too much leave at 34 just go off sick then they start your maternity straight away xx
aww sorry hun, if 34 weeks is the earliest you can go then yh take it then, don't worry about others just do what's best for you and baby...that's what I'd always advise and don't feel guilty about it xx
Aww I wish I had a boss like yours, sounds like they are looking out for your well being :) @natroberts88 xx
I'm leaving my job at 34 weeks. I work in a cafe so it's not too physical but my boss has advised I leave then because I won't be able to lift trays or bend to reach things properly lol
Mine isn't a demanding job but the people I work with are just pure rude and disrespectful and have made my time there horrendous:/ @beccastirlingx xx
That would be now @nadsx316 lol! But I need to stay on for a bit longer! Guess 34 weeks is only about 8 weeks away so j need to grin and bear it lol xx
It also depends on the job, my job was physical, I pushed wheelchairs, showered folk, constant house work and even did sleepovers as I was a carer so, really upto you aswell! Yeah, that's the tricky part! Finding another job, start looking while on maternity :-) @briony1994
whenever is best for you hun, some people stay and work up till labour others I know have been signed off early at 20 something weeks and some even before, it really depends on your pregnancy and how you're coping with it. You go on leave when you feel you've had enough and are ready for a break x
I feel like 34 weeks is really early for some reason, i would take it earlier but my work are being funny with me anyway. i don't want to go back but have a feeling I may have to unless I find a job that I am able to start straight after maternity leave!!! @beccastirlingx
Just take what you feel is best. I left at 32 weeks because I was struggling, plus I'm not going back! So it's completley upto you, your baby and your body :-) @briony1994 x

Thanks for all the ❤️ guys! I think I'm in shock! Labor story in a bit I'm being attacked with visitors lol

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.

I see a SUPER faint line! Or I'm crazy.. Pic was taken within 5 minutes. Either I'm pregnant or I'm having line eyes.
Doctor rant.
Okay, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm mad.
I had to take mine at 28 because I had severe spd, kudos to you for being so great and working! Take the leave whenever you like, forget what other mums are doing x
