When Sterling and I decided to have Emmalyn, we just decided to get married-so we did via the court house. Late night thoughts were seriously depressing because I thought I never got to experience a proposal. Nor will I ever experience it. I think I am more butt hurt about the proposal than I ever will be about not having a wedding. I asked him last night if he ever knew how he would have asked for my hand in marriage of it wasn't for em. But he had no idea, I guess that's going to be a mystery I have to deal with.

My husband and I got married at the courthouse. I didn't get a super cute proposal, but he'd been asking me for months before he even got a ring. My husband is far from romantic at times lol but that's just him. We plan to have an actual wedding. You guys can have your dream wedding in the future maybe? Or a vow renewal? Maybe one day he'll upgrade your ring and propose to you the way you want. There's nothing wrong with wanting something special.
