Do c sections really hurt that bad? I've heard stories about them and they all say the pain is horrible, I'm worried I may need one because my baby STILL isn't head down 😓😩
recovery is rough the actual surgery isn't bad at all... I breastfed but my milk was delayed a few days due to the surgery....
the recovery is worse than the surgery, but I found moving around helped, going from sitting to standing hurt but once you've got moving it doesn't really hurt as bad, my nan gave me a tip for standing up which was to stand still in a seated position(bent over) and put a slightly push on the wound as you straighten, I thought it would really hurt but it helped so much with standing up x
I breastfed after and mine came in before I even had it. mine came in around 35 weeks and I breastfed as soon as I got out of the operation and pumped alot the first couple days to grow my supply. @10yearslater0205 you are given something a little stronger than Tylenol. I recommend asking for a belly band. it was my life saver it helps alot
@aburch1527, so I'll be having my first csection I had my first two natural .. Did u breast feed after ? When did ur milk come in ? I heard it takes longer then a natural birth what do u know about that? What will I get just plain Tylenol 😭
Pain meds definitely help, you just need to move around a lot, it's painful but trust me when I say you'll be able to make it through it. The hardest part was getting out of bed, your body will heal faster than you think @queenbee29
not really, it depends though like if you breastfeed they can't give you very hard stuff but if your not they can give you better stuff
@aburch1527, @fifimama @vb95 so even with pain meds it don't make you atleast comfortable?
recovery period is worse than the actual surgery. my recovery was pure hell.
ive had two and gonna have my third in july the after is the worse it hurts alot
The healing process is SOOOO hard I was in so much pain for 5 almost 6 weeks
The recovery is definitely painful, but after about 2 weeks you'll feel almost 100% better.
@anurch1527, I have one of those I was going to use anyway did u put it on right away ontop of your incision? How did it milk fully come in before ? I thought it came in after the placenta detaches during delivery .. With my natural birth it still came in day 4😩
