She's a week old today! She's doing great. Not on the jet ventilator anymore. But on a smaller ventilator and only on 60% oxygen. Hopefully by next weekend she don't be on the ventilator anymore. Only time will tell

I understand completey! with Xayden I was so scared. but I had to be strong for him and also for myself. but 50 percent oxygen is good. she's making her way down to room percentage! she's a little fighter.❤ keep being strong for her and she'll do the rest. the more you visit and just be there for her she's gonna get the vibe to keep pushing on. we thought Xayden was gonna be in NICU for 2 weeks. but after his 4th day he ripped his oxygen mask out his nose and was managing to 21 percent room oxygen and they lessened his stay. it's hard to see your little one hooked up like that but to see them each day making slow progress to getting better makes it a little easier. I had a c section with my son so I was at the hospital for 4 days but soon as I was off iv's I was in that NICU every chance I got. as well as after I was discharged. every free chance I got we were up there. it's so hard to be a NICU mommy but I definitely believe that it makes us stronger for them in the end. hopefully she won't need to stay that long, and as the days go by she get stronger and stronger ❤ you got it momma. your daughter feels better every time she sees you in there with her for sure.
@xbbycolletto, they are telling me a couple weeks to a month. So I'm hoping by the end of the month I'll be home. And I have experienced fear so many times in one week I'm tired of being in fear. But I'm being strong for my daughter.

being a NICU mommy is so hard but it teaches one of the great parenting lessons off hand. learning what fear really is. she's beautiful. and I hope she gets better soon, girl. my son was a NICU patient from the minute they cut him out of me and he was in the NICU and entire week. babies are strong.. and they fight. and I'm sure she's gonna do the same :) keeping all the positive vibes your way!
This is depressing😭😭 My baby is all grown up 😭😭😭 She doesn't fit her baby seat anymore and only fits in a booster 😭😭 I can't believe it 😭😭 She's only 16 months 💔

I had a c section too. The day she got sent to rileys hospital in indy was the day I was released. Anf we been here a week tomorrow. I didn't have to stay at the hospital at all.
