I just want someone to pay for an ultrasound for me so I can know the sex of my baby and surprise my husband when he gets home on Thursday. ugh I hate being broke. and I just want to surprise my husband for once.

it'll be hard since we already have our 1 year old daughter and I always cry during ultrasounds I might not be able to do that
Yes I understand that'll be so lovely. You can pull your camera out at ultrasound and still record it though. Ask tech to tell at end so you'll be prepared.
@baby6aryn, it sucks that it's always been a dream to surprise him and video tape it. that's the hardest part
One of the biggest joys I got was when me and hubby found out together. It was such an emotional priceless moment to see the joy in his face and feel it in my heart you never know this may work out to your advantage

@shannaa24 then next time he leaves he'll be gone until after the birth of the baby. and he's nosey so I know during the ultrasound at the doctor appointment he will be asking the lady the entire time. so this would be the only time I'd be able to surprise him.
@kay.forsha, :( sometimes things dont workout the way we want them too. I'm sure you can figure out some sort of present for him. you can set an appointment to go with him to the doctor for a gender test. or after you find out, don't tell him the gender till he gets back home the next time. hopefully that'll be before your due date. That has to be hard on the both of you with him being gone during your pregnancy. My friend is in the Navy as well. he was gone most of her first pregnantcy. decided to take leave right before they had their second child. that was probably a year and half since her first was born. he's been home struggling to pay their bills. kids are 2 & 4. he's about to sign another form to go back.
I am but my husband will be home by the time we get the 20 week ultrasound. I wanted to get an elective ultrasound so I can surprise him. my insurance only pays for 3 ultrasounds unless it's a medical emergency and they have to look at the baby if something is wrong. @shannaa24 the other thing is I can pay for it next paycheck but my hubby will be home the day he gets paid so it would be too late. and if I borrowed it from friends or family I could pay them back but no one wants to help.
