the piece holding the mattress up has a screw on all 4 corners. you will see holes on the 4 corners of the wood inside the crib. you adjust it there @missbets I recommend removing mattress when you do this :)

I'm not sure on that crib, but usually there are brackets that attach in each corner and they can be moved up or down.

Definitely too low.. You want it on the highest setting until baby is more mobile.

I had mine on the highest setting until he learned to sit up then move it down 1 the 1 more when he learned to stand. seemed to work @missbets every mama is different :)
