Did something change with the glucose test process??? I have it next month, next appointment, but I expected to hear instructions or get a paper on them, on how not to eat blah blah blah & explaining the process? I got nothing from her. She just said I'll be in the lab for an hr, then see my doctor.
Am I missing something here? 😒
The last time I done this was almost 6 years ago, I was expecting to hear that I needed not to eat the night and morning before. But they didn't tell me anything like that.
you drink the stuff wait an hr get your blood drawn. if your over a number you have to do the 3 hr one. some Dr don't want you to eat until afterwards cuz it effects the test. drink plan water that day. no flovor. that's what made mine high. I didn't eat but I had a lot of flavor water
I ate a full breakfast scrambled eggs ham and cheese. just don't eat sugary foods your numbers have to be between 75&135; or you take the three hour test
