Question. My friends came over with their 3 month old baby, and she had a drink (mikes hard lemonade) she breastfeeds and I asked her if you can while breastfeeding. She told me that her doctor said you can have a drink and breastfeed still if you're NOT drunk. So I'm genuinely curious if you really can or if this is one of those preference things like "you can drink one glass of red whine a day while pregnant" since I'm actually curious I want facts, maybe that you heard from your doctor. Not personal opinions. Thank you!
the docs say if your sober enough to drive safely your sober enough to breastfeed.. it leaves your breast milk like it leave your blood.. @torinicole.t
You can even drink while bf literally everything as changed join some of the breastfeeding pages on fb I'm very active on those. Never drank while breastfeeding EVER and I nursed both of my boys until they were 2!! No bottles or formula ever. So it's nice to know I could have a while cooler haha if I chose to this time around lol. You can get tons of info
Now it all changed as long as you're not crazy drunk you can breastfeed they've gotten rid of the pump and dump method. Those strips weren't reliable so you can drink a ton and still bf :) hope it helps.
my sister and I were told you can drink while breastfeeding only if you wait 2 hours after you drink.
you can drink and breastfeed as long as you don't feel drunk or tipsy. whatever your blood alcohol level is that is what you're breastmilk will have. once your not tipsy or anything anymore your milk is good to go! no need to pump and dump or anything :) so yes like the other ladies were saying it Def is ok to have the one Mikes hard
She can have a beer. If she gets drunk she can't breastfeed. That one will not do anything. I wouldn't drink at all but that's not going to do anything. Some women drink beer to up their supply
Okay thank you. I know that the foods to avoid while pregnant, you can now eat while breastfeeding was okay. At least a breastfeeding Cousoler told me that today.. So I was wondering if the same applied for the drinks @babymay2016
