I didn't gain weight on depo, I lost weight! But you spot a lot for like almost a couple months straight. I was on it for health reasons and it didn't help me so I just Switched to a pill after.

I know everyone can be different but I gained 40lbs on the depo shot and it completely messed up my hormones. I hated it.

I'm going to be getting the mirena depending on if it's safe for breast feeding since I can't remember to take my meds for the life of me.

I'm thinking about getting the paraguard since I'll be breast feeding.

I'm so terrible about remember pills so that wasn't an option the depo shot was horrible I got really big and felt like crap. so the implonon was my go to. but after this one I am thinking about the mirena because it lasts longer

I had the one in your arm, implonon, after my fist daughter was born. it was great, 3 years no kids, got it taken out about a year ago and am about to give birth to my second child.

I had the Paragard it's for 10 years, but you can get the Mirena. easy insert and easy take out when your ready. I enjoyed it, had no problems with it and liked not having to take the pill all the time.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
