Should I Take a Pregnancy Test After Being 3 Days Late?

I'm 3 days late on aunt flow. My daughter is 4 months , five next Monday, I have not been on birth control since I had her, and I only breastfed for three months. Though I put her on the boob sometimes at night till she falls asleep, should I take a test next week or don't waste your money?
