My baby latches pretty easily and so far I haven't gave him any formula or bottles. Strictly breast, but my nipples are hurting and I'm not sure if I'm properly feeding. He's def getting milk because he pooped twice and pee's a good amount of times.

Omg thank you! I think he wasn't latching deep enough. And yeah I have some lanolin nipple cream and it helps a ton! @gypsy.soul2
are nipples are normal but painful nipples are not.. make sure he has a deep latch and is getting most of the aeriola in his mouth.. a shallow latch will cause super painful nipples that are unbearable.. use some natural nipple cream or your own breastmilk to relieve the soreness or coconut oil ♡
You're nipples will most likely hurt for the first 2-3 wks. They'll get used to nursing and it won't hurt anymore. Also for a good latch run your nipple from the tip of baby's nose to the mouth so baby opens wide.
