Yesterday at the dr we got a low blow. My baby is only getting 1/3 of the blood through the umbilical cord. There is nothing that we can do but trust in God and pray for the best case scenario. That being a preemie. She will eventually run out of enough nutrition to grow. Then she will be evicted. The worst case scenario is having a chromosome disorder / birth defects that they can't test for. Either way, it does not change the fact that she is loved now and that will never change.

For now we are surviving. I am playing the game of life from minute to minute. Hubby and I are both very distraught at the time being. Neither one of us can talk about it but we are still together as much as possible to support each other. Sometimes words are not needed. We are trusting God through this as best we can.

I'll tell you about what my mom went through with me. It isn't exactly the same but similar. Half of my mother placenta died when she was pregnant with me. I only got a fraction of the blood, nutrients, and oxygen I was suppose to be getting. I had a very low survival rate if I would even make it to birth. If I made it through birth alive I had a high chance of brain damage (from lack of oxygen) or major defects. I made it full term still alive. I was breeched so she had a c-section with me. I was on a heart monitor for one year and had weekly check ups to gauge my brain activity. Other then ADHD I am perfectly fine and healthy and have gone on to have perfectly healthy babies. I hope this helps bring you a little hope... I'll be keeping you and your LO in my thoughts

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path
