pitbulls used to be known as the nanny dogs. If raised right and sweet they can be such love bugs. I had one when my son was born and every time he'd cry she would bark at the room I was in and go sit and wait next to his bassinet until I got there.

I have pitbull lab mixes and there so sweet people are so ignorant it's all about how dogs are raised not there breed
