I'm so tired, I almost poured my beer on the baby thinking that my bottle was his.

I'm finally completely miserable. I didn't have morning sickness, and wasn't sore or tired, but it's all caught up to me.

RANT: My MIL keeps asking us what we need for the baby, and has been since September, but never actually gets any of it. In fact, she told me that I didn't register for anything useful, when I only registered for the essentials (first aid kit, car seat, bottles, shampoo, lotion, etc.). Instead, she keeps buying the tackiest baby clothes I have ever seen in my life. She's so convinced that we won't follow through on cloth diapers (after spending at least $200 on prefolds alone) that she's bought ...

What are some things you registered for or someone got you that you ended up absolutely never needing?

Courtesy of pregnancy hormones, I'm super excited to have a basket full of things for my baby to shit in.

I feel like my pit bull knows I'm pregnant. He used to put his head up higher on my belly, but started putting his head lower around 8 weeks and is now putting his ear up to the baby. The day the baby kicks when my scaredy pup is laying on me will be so interesting.

It is way too early in my pregnancy for my mother-in-law to be irritating me this much.

I can't wait to look pregnant instead of just extra fat.

I'm so happy I saw my little poppy seed baby today. ❤ We're checking for a heartbeat at the next ultrasound in two weeks.

I'm trying to figure out when I'll actually need maternity clothes because I don't want to buy any more than necessary. I'll probably just get a few dresses and some scrubs.
