My twin girls are a week shy of 18 months. I believe in letting them wean on their own and this morning we had a moment where they latched on and did nothing, just wanting the comfort. I want to start potty training within the week, and since they are telling me when they need a diaper change now, I'm feeling like it's time to just say no.
I'm expecting and would like a break from nursing before my new little arrives!

Congrats on making it so long, especially with two! Wow! Just a thought and I have no clue but I just remember how painful it was at the beginning of nursing.. Do you think by stopping you'll have to go through that again? If so I'll breastfeed my son until kindergarten if I have to until baby #2 arrives lol

@sev1226, thank you, I am proud of making it this far. I can't imagine that the pain would return when I start nursing again, I didn't experience much more than mild discomfort. I am greatful to be a stranger to cracked bleeding nipples! I hear ya, I imagined myself dropping them off at preschool and nursing in the car lol guess not now
