Okay I have two questions! I'm new to all of this doctor stuff.
1) is it normal for my OB to be charging me for the delivery and stuff so early in my pregnancy?
2) my dentist has been calling me to come in and get a cleaning and a checkup and I haven't gone because of my pregnancy. Am I able to go to the dentist while pregnant?
For the delivery of the baby with my insurance which is Kaiser they gave me a few opinions either pay it in full at time of delivery or make small payments until the baby is born
I make a payment at every appointment until it's payed off which the way they split it up it was 5 months worth of payments
as far as number 1. idk because my insurance takes care of all that. as for 2. yes it's safe just make sure they know that ur pregnant and they will do what they can. I just had mine done and was glad because my gums were bothering me and after that they have felt so much better!
Yes you can see a dentist but you will probably need a paper from your dr saying what you are allowed and not.
Yes a lot of dr(my old dr) will get you to see the financial person and they will calculate up all your Drs fees and make you sign a paper saying you will pay so much every month or however your office sets it up.
@oliviasmama1211, yeah I have to pay $125 every time I go in starting at my next appointment.
you most likely will need a slip from your doctor allowing the dentist to treat you.
He's charging you for your delivery already? I had to pay for the total of all my appointments early on. Every OB is different and depends on insurance too. And I went to the dentist when I was about 6 months. Just for a cleaning. Sometimes when you're pregnant your gums can be a little more sensitive so it was pretty painful and tender😪
1) mine definitely didnt..
2) yes, it's a good idea to, especially if you aren't drinking a lot of milk baby takes calcium from your bones, so a good cleaning and check up is a plus. just DO NOT get any x rays, stay away from that as much as possible
You actually should be going to the dentist for cleanings and checkups because pregnancy strips our enamel and makes you more prone to gum disease 🙈
