You're the mother. You can say at the hospital whether or not people can come visit you. The hospital staff will not let anyone in unless you say it's okay.

but you want whats best for your family. i didn't let anybody see my daughter for 48hrs. especially all the smokers in my family. I wouldnt even let them in the room if they smelt like smoke.

@hermommy, Well sweetie if they're giving up you, your SO, and that precious baby just because they had to wait to see her, then they aren't the kind of people y'all need in your lives... That baby should be raised by people that love her, not people that got mad at her momma because her momma wanted to get to know her first.

And that's way happens when u have ur own family a lot of ppl won't like it and will try to butt in and will have their two cents but at the end of the day u guys are the parents ur the ones dealing wit this child on a 24/7 basis and what u says goes and for those who don't like it then tuff cookie sh.t they ain't the ones giving birth to this child now are they

But y'all are right i have to do what's right for my baby girl and her daddy agrees with me which should've let me know I wasn't wrong cause Lord knows my SO will tell me when I am😂😩

You won't lose any in the long run that were meant to be in your life or the baby's life. @hermommy Only people you'd lose are the idiots over something like that.
