I breast and bottle formula feed bc I don't produce enough, my baby was born preemie and she'll still act hungry after nursing. anyways, when she drinks from the bottle she drinks really fast and milk comes out the sides of her mouth. My baby will sometimes choke and get the hiccups after feedings as well. I've tried every bottle from Dr. Browns, avent, playtex drop ins, comotomo, Tommy tippy...everything! Any recommendations or comments? please

When she breast feeds she doesn't leak out the sides of her mouth. only with bottles. & yes I get the preemie nipples.

I'm barely getting my appetite back which I know has a lot to do with producing. so I'll try those recipes @cubanese thank you

Madela makes a nipple that is supposed to imitate the breast (meaning slower flow)

Have you checked for tongue and/or lip ties? it's very common for kids with ties to leak milk when drinking.

My daughter had a severe lip tie and a posterior tongue tie. We used the premie nipples on the dr. Brown's bottles before her revision (laser at 2 months).

Another thing to look into is pace feeding. ссылка

have you attempted changing the nipple flow of the bottle to a slower one?

are you drinking enough water and how often are you nursing... you may need to nurse more... it's about supply and demand and nuk works for the most part.

Put baby in more of an upright position and tilt the bottle slightly down so only a little milk is in the nipple at a time. Baby wont be able to get as much as fast. @breanac
