Rice is one thing I always buy organic because of the aresenic, read that yrs ago, let them know

I applaud you for having some sense about things. I hate rice cereal. it's pointless. it does nothing but make them gain weight entirely too quick. my friend had a 4 month old who wears 12 month clothing... because she started using rice cereal in his bottles at 2 weeks old. 😑 it can mess up their stomachs too. her 1st born can't digest food properly.. like food comes out the way it goes in.. due to starting rice cereal so early. 3 weeks with her I believe. but some people won't listen.

@nicemmcha2015, my sisters "step son" is 1 year old & weighs 30 pounds! Because the dr told them to put rice cereal in his bottle to help him spitting up!! If I ever give my daughter (7months) rice cereal I mix it with a fruit

I mix rice cereal with baby food to thicken a little. I don't rely on it, nor use it every feeding my daughter gets baby food with.

Thank you for posting this. I would get told that i was a bad mother cause I wouldn't give my daughter rice cereal when she was a baby.

@gypsy.soul2, ha it was my MIL too that gave me shit. I hate hearing well that's what I did for your husband and he's just fine. Umm excuse me the man/boy that you didn't properly raise so I'm now picking up the load. Yeah your freaking brilliant. 😒
