@kimberlynnn, if you're AD and have dependents, they get free Healthcare as well as long as it's prime. Even if they enroll in standard the co-pays and out of pocket payments are minimal. And met life dental is only like $11 a month, which is astronomically cheaper than any other insurances.
Thank you for your service, though!
@kimberlynnn, thank you :) and he doesn't know I want to join yet, and I don't want him to think he's gonna have to join instead because I'm wanting to join. I'm thinking about telling him tonight. I just told my dad today to get his advice. He served for 20 years. So I had lots of questions to ask 😁
Lol girl I am so over it, it serves your baby no good if you plan on spending a lot of time away from your baby, I mean the benefits are cool but you'll be unhappy if you don't have the right intentions
Yes I will be okay with that because I have a wonderful man that is even more excited about the baby than I am ☺️. I know it's not going to be easy, but we're not exactly financially stable as I want us to be. I want to spoil my baby and give it everything I can. I don't want to depend on people to support my family. I'm a very independent person. I'm not the type of person that can just ask family for some money because I don't have enough to pay bills or whatever. And i was raised to work for my money so government support is not on my list.
I understand that I really do. But are you going to be ok with leaving your baby while you go to basic and training for your job? Would you be ok with leaving your baby for months at a time if you go on a deployment? Do you have someone that you trust to take care of your child while your gone?
My dad was in the navy, I've been on the ship, been on a cruise, seen the beds, ate the ship food. I know that I loved growing up as a military brat, and I want my baby to grow up in a good life.
Thank you for your service, though!
