had my 16 week apt. Got super freaked because she couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. So I got an ultrasound, turns out I have an anterior placenta. Any other moms have one as well? Bumbed I bought a home doppler that should arrive today and because it's anterior I might not be able to pick up the babies heart beat

@rgaine, thanks for your imput, just completely freaked me out when she said she couldn't find the heartbeat.
I have one. Took longer to feel the baby move and it muffles his kicks a little sometimes (thank goodness- it's actually a blessing, I think). I can see my heartbeat through my stomach now- that's weird. It's a common thing though- lots of women are anterior. :-)
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
8w5d and I got to hear my little rainbow baby on the doppler today! Totally shocked that I found it this early! Im so glad I kept my doppler after having my son almost 4 years ago! I got video of it as well. Wish we could post video on this app! ?
Anterior placenta?
I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

Yeah, that's scary but soon it won't be an issue. I literally see my stomach beating sometimes. :-)
