How do you get your child to sleep in the crib? Last night my son slept for 2 hours in it. Woke up and kept kicking and throwing his hands. I had to put him in the bed. When he's in his bassinet that is pretty much too small he does fine. Is there any secrets?? Thanks!!!

Outrageous! A 5 year old was detained and questioned at his school for taking a toy gun to show his friend. He was so scared he wet his pants and his parents weren't notified until 2 hours into the questioning. He was suspended for 10 days, but it was reduced to the 3 days he had already served after the parents and others complained. The school stated that the situation was handled appropriately and would be handled in a similar manner in the future.
If on the weekend ur unborn child's father get his son from his bm and barely answers his phone and don't text....what would u think? Do u think he's spending time with the bm as well or he just wants to spend time with His son without being bothered?
Prayers needed please My husband is on his way to his mothers house, and he has no idea when he gets there that he is going to find out his little brother killed himself thismorning.

I always swaddle my son when he won't stay still. Seems to work for now!

make sure he is swaddled if he still likes to be also have him take naps in his crib so he gets use to it if he wakes in the middle of the night don't put him in your bed take him and rock him or even get in his crib with him and wait for him to go back to sleep and then get out his crib I also slept on the floor next to his crib and when he woke up I'd put my hand in his crib and hold his hand and he'd go back to sleep

@henrysmommy, he doesn't like to be swaddled... Never has.. :( @wyatts_mommy_0106 I have done that but as soon as I let go he wakes up. Would putting a shirt that smells like me in his crib work?

yes it can it never hurts to try I had to give my son my pillow but he was used to sleeping on a pillow when I was transitioning him to his crib from my bed which he was about 9 months

me yatts_mommy_0106, I've heard yes and no on so many things because of the sids issues... Still scares me but I want him to sleep in there

Yeah you have to do what's right for you and him to get him in his bed it don't hurt to try things to get him to sleep alone. it's hard and trail and error but you'll eventually find something that works for him
