Side note: if you use an under arm thermometer you have to add a degree to whatever the the thermometer says. Sorry, I know that didn't have much to do with your post but just just for future reference. Lol

Him being all worked up like that could have had something to do with it, I would take it again in an hour and if it's still high I would definitely take him in
