So just took my sons (he's 9 weeks) temp rectally and it was 101. something but he was like screaming before and during.... Could that have effected his body temperature?

Side note: if you use an under arm thermometer you have to add a degree to whatever the the thermometer says. Sorry, I know that didn't have much to do with your post but just just for future reference. Lol

I was told anything above 100.4 is a fever @whitneym
Him being all worked up like that could have had something to do with it, I would take it again in an hour and if it's still high I would definitely take him in
