To all new breastfeeding mama's: I just wanted to let you know I'm here for you, and to tell the truth about breastfeeding that many mommies won't day up front: It's gonna be hard! Breastfeeding is beautiful, and I wouldn't change it for the world, my girl has been EBF since the day she was born and now she's 7 months old 😱 but it doesn't come naturally to everyone, and it certainly isn't easy! There will be pain until you and baby learn to latch, there will be sweat on your arm from that hot ass nursing baby lol, there will be tears from baby AND mommy, there will be days where your nipples hurt so bad you just wanna give up! There will be days where the baby will be PERMINENTLY latched to your breasts and will not want to be set down ALL DAY AND NIGHT! There will be days where your baby pick a fight with booby and act like they are refusing it! Whether it be comfort suckling, hunger, to increase milk supply, growth spurts, upset tummy, cold coming on, teething, WHATEVER, you baby will nurse a lot and it's all NORMAL! There will be days when you feel like you have NO LIFE left, you are a prisoner to your nursing baby and you will be "touched out", you will not want affection from hubby or anyone because you have been in constant contact from the moment you opened your eyes that day...but guess what? IT GETS BETTER!!! And I'm not just saying that to sugarcoat, it really does! Your baby will only be a BABY once in their lives, they will only need you this much ONCE in their lives, and it goes so damn quick that if you're not careful, you're gonna miss it! So sit back, take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy every moment you can nursing your baby! Because before you know it, your baby will be a toddler and will self wean and you'll really miss the bond and the closeness and the calming effects and all the love of breastfeeding...it may be hard, but it is worth every moment of it! It is a very small sacrifice to make in the early months and years of your baby's life to give them a lifetime of benefits!
