im 40 weeks.. went to labor and delivery yesterday they checked my cervix 2 times, (still closed and far back). the nurse did tell me that i was gonna have spotting yesterday .. but NOTHING came out. this morning around 2am, i woke up to contractions happeneing every few hours ..(very far apart) but painful .. still having them now and (TMI) .. i was laying down (in the middle of a contraction) and felt a warm liquid rush out of me, i got up quick and blood start filling a small area of my underwear. i went to pee, and wiped and theres still blood. its not as dark as period blood. i dont see any mucus or slimy discharge for a mucus plug. . could this be the spotting she was talking about ?
