it can go both ways but if ur already 38 weeks I would say u can go at any time ...are u dilated at all ?

Yeah she thinks the same, they thought she was going to be a big baby

She came out weighing 6lbs, I was suppose to have my membrane sweep on Wednesday and then if I didn't go naturally I would have had to be induced Jan 22nd

@sayala24, that's almost 39 weeks

My doctor says if it's not 39 weeks the baby is considered a premature

Does your dr thinks the same?

I delivered at 38 weeks and 6 days.

@beebaby, I've heard some woman made it to weeks after the bloody show but every woman is different right

I lost my mucus plug on monday and Tuesday and went into labor thursday. I didn't have a bloody show with it

I guess I was different bc I lost my plug for weeks before my baby came. Actually almost a month

Uhoh bloody show means baby is soon on his way doesn't mean today but it means soon !! I don't think your going to go the whole 40 if you had your bloody show . But I know how much you wanted to cause of everything good luck and keep me posted !! @green_smilezz,

it could be several things...in my experience, I lost my plug after my contractions had started. baby came a day and half later...I know other ppl say it didnt mean anything for them

not sure if the OB is to blame, but if you're worried that you may be going into labor just track any contractions you may be having. often your plug will come out way before you even go into labor. and I was told the plug can come out with a little bloody show + be a mucusy blob. 💞 keep up updated!
