ladies, stop criticizing other moms on whether or not they want to induce labor at 37 weeks. its not your place, or any of your business for that matter, to tell them its wrong. if their doctors tell them its fine and they're asking for tips on how to get it started, don't tell them to "let baby cook, they'll come when they're ready". they aren't asking your opinion on when baby should arrive. if they wanted that opinion, I imagine they'd ask for it. if you don't agree with inducing labor at 37 weeks, that's your opinion, but keep it to yourselves and continue scrolling. I think its rude to say "they'll come when they're ready". and as for opinions on this post, keep scrolling if you don't agree.

Many babies are born with issues because women try to get them out way to soon. I don't think criticizing anyone is okay but I think that's why that do it. Just saying not disagreeing😊

I think the point is, is that going on a place like this asking for advice, is very dangerous. I understand if your doctor gives you some safe ideas but it's crazy to ask for that here! This is really serious and most don't even know what they are doing. It's risky unless you're instructed my a doctor. Nothing is wrong about being concerned over babies!

Okay I know you said not to comment but to explain the other side, people say that because most of the time it is dangerous to try and force a baby to come out early. Like it or not, a baby WILL come when it is ready, whether early or late, they arentue one's who decide when to come, they release hormones that get things started. So trying to force it to happen can be dangerous, there can be complications, and baby can even be born at an earlier gestation than previously thought because believe it or not, doctors get the due dates wrong and it's pretty common! These babies can have lung problems, feeding issues and much more due to being born "early term", which is the actual medical term used for 37 weeks, which many misconstrue as being "full term". Full term is 40 weeks, and nothing sooner. There is a LOT of last minute development that helps the baby a lot in those last 3+ weeks, so I think giving women advice in letting it happen when it happens is smart in most cases. It's different if there could be possible complications and the doctor says to try and get the baby to come out yourself before they induce medically, but in that case a simple explanation would suffice and keep comments like "let the baby bake longer" away.
