@kayla23, from what I've heard they do spinal blocks for Christmas section and epidural for Vagina

I've heard people talk about both of them and was just wondering what the difference was. obviously I won't need to know for awhile lol @sarahmercer

@kayla23, maybe some people do call it that. I have had more spinal taps then I can count. I used to have to have spinal fluid removed to relieve pressure. This is my first child so I don't know too much!

a spinal tap is what they do when they need to test your spinal fluid. They remove fluid, we're you talking about a spinal block?

The spinal block is an injection that you get once and an epidural is a catheter line that stays in your back until they take it out. The most noticeable difference is how long the effects of the drugs last.
