shit...just got real. my ob called.my c section is scheduled!!!

some nights I wake up stressing out about having a c-section. I know it's for the best. just kinda scary. delivering is kinda scary too. but it's gonna happen. and many many woman have been through it all. I had to tell myself that over and over before delivering my first baby.

I had a csection with my son and kinda glad it ended up that way.I don't dialatw what so ever.

I was more terrified of natural birth than a csection.@shannaa24,

So when are you scheduled for it? How far will you be?

Awe how exciting! I'm due June 8th. Schedule c section for June 1st but been in pre term labor twice already that they have luckily been able to stop. Hoping we make it til at least may!!!

Oh wow i asked because my ob is scheduling mine tomorrow when i go for my appointment and I'm due June 17th@littlemama113

@lovely17, idk about all OBS but mine said they schedule them 4 days away from your due date usually.

@littlemama113, I'm having twins. so I definitely feel c-section would be the easiest and the safest this time around. I can do vaginally if the first baby is head down. but if the other babies heart rate drops, then they would need to do an emergency c-section. so I would have to deliver vaginally and c-section. that doesn't sound too good to me, plus taking care of 3 kids in so much pain. idk how I would manage. so just a c-section sounds best. my delivery date is July 17th. going to be induced June 17th. I'll be 36 weeks.

this will be my second c-section..

My first one 8years ago was because i was high risk and my daughters heart rate was slowing down and mine was too....@littlemama113,

@littlemama113, that's good to know. I heard many different stories from having a c-section. my vaginal deliver went fast and easy. I healed completed in two weeks. I was walking around after the next day after having my son. I took care of stuff around the house that week as well.
