Mamas who have had to send their babies' to the NICU, were you or your SO able to change first diapers or no? Seems silly, but I'm just trying to anticipate what I'll be able to do with my girls when they get here and are sent to the NICU. I just want to be there for every first.

they were on breathing machines where the machines were totally breathing for them so they let us know that touching them could cause it to be worse @twinmama510
I was on magnesium and had to wait for the entire bag to finish through my iv. I had my son at 1:28am and wasn't able to see him until around maybe 5pm that night. It was horrible
@calebsmommy1121, did they have a reason for not letting you change the first diaper?
@wifeymumof5, what makes a baby no stimulation? That's sad. If you don't mind me asking.
I did and unfortunately the first diaper change no.
its according to there comdition i know with my two sons i wasnt able to becauae they were no stimulation but once they got better i did everythng as if i was home taking care of them
