so I went to the doctor today and he said the baby's heartbeat is 160 but seems lower to him. the last time I went the heartbeat was 162. . is it suppose to get higher or lower ? and i lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks .. :(

My babies started at 184 at eleven weeks when we saw him for the first time then 169 a month later and at my 20 week ultrasound his heart rate was 154. I never lost any weight because I didn't have morning sickness but I've only gained like three pounds so far.

my son's rate was 164 at my 19 week appointment so I don't think I would be concerned. His rate was 162 at my 15 week appointment.
Your baby's heart beat can vary by 20 beats within an hour.. I lost 12lbs from morning sickness.. You gain it back later in pregnancy
