Hello mommies!! So i am a FTM last week I was 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated. As of today I'm still 1cm and my dr didn't tell me if I thinned anymore. I got my membranes stripped today. Has getting your membranes stripped helped any of you getting your labor started?

@abelsmom, girl my grandma from my dads side told me to drink Te de Comino which is cumin seed tea I drank that before my walk and it helped too it out me in labor for sure
I've actually never heard of any teas besides the raspberry leaf tea. I'm surprised my boyfriends momma hasn't told be about these Mexican teas lol @mommy431
Walk a lot that's what I did and hot baths. Do you believe in Mexican Teas?

@abelsmom, yes it worked for me. My midwife did a very good job I couldn't even walk and I cried lol but I went into labor later that night. I saw her around 4:45 on walked around my neighborhood and up hills I was contracting the whole time. Came home took a hot shower then around 1 am took another shower I was full blown active labor by 3am I arrived at the hospital had my son at 3:24am

I was 2cm and more than 75% on Monday Got mine done then, and had sex last night and lost my mucus plug but I'm still pregnant. Lol Works for some not for others. It's more effective the more dilated you are.
