Lol I got called judgmental because I said it's selfish to drink while pregnant and now the girl keeps going on and on about this and that...please don't feel the need to explain yourself to me because I don't want to hear it. I don't care if it's fifteen shots or half a glass of wine, it's all the same to me and I think it's selfish. I don't care what is supposedly "safe" or "okay". Guess what? They don't know exactly what causes the birth defects or what amount; some who binge drink have perfect babies and some who drink a sip have lots of problems. So why would you even take that chance?? It's 9 fucking months. If you can't put your wants aside for that long and wait and have a healthy baby before you enjoy a beer, then you're selfish and putting your child at risk. If that makes me judgmental then so be it. Don't have kids until you're ready to put their needs before your wants, even in utero. Don't try and explain your reasoning to me as if you have something to prove, I don't give a shit. Stop trying to justify your shitty decisions with bullshit excuses when in reality you were just thinking of yourself and not the developing life inside you.

How I feel about people who can't quit smoking. I get that it's hard and addicting but when it comes to the human you are growing inside it shouldn't be that hard

You can't really drink after either.. If you plan on breastfeeding, but I totally agree with you momma! But I also agree that it is her decision to decide what's best for her.

Amen!!!! 🙌🙌🙌 haven't had a drop of alcohol since I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks! It's really not hard.. You're right, you never know what could affect your baby in what way, why even take the chance. To each their own I guess.. I just gave it up. Along with cigarettes.👌

It drives me crazy too. I was smoking cigarettes, weed, meth, and snorting coke, and I stopped it all as soon as I found out I was pregnant because I couldn't stand the thought of what this stuff would do to my baby.

I agree with this!! I was a HUGE wine drinker before i got pregnant. I loved having a glass every night with dinner or after a stressful day. Everyone, even my doctor told me i could have a glass a week but i simply can't even make myself indulge in it! If something were to happen id only have that to look at and blame so why even chance it?! 9 months doesn't kill you lol same for smoking. I understand it can be an addiction for some but how is it possible not to put the baby first? Guess its just different views by different people.

@breannaedwards_ you actually can drink if you do it after you feed and then make sure you have enough stored to feed again until it's out of your system. there are ways to do it but I probably won't. @lyricsmommy616 I feel you completely! I was always wasted and partying and not even gonna lie, I miss weed and alcohol like CRAZY but I'm not gonna risk the health of my child to feel good for a little while. I stopped as soon as I even thought I was pregnant.

I drank early on in my pregnancy, but I didn't know I was pregnant! All the ultrasounds say baby is fine, but it is a constant worry in the back of my mind that something is going to be wrong because I drank. I couldn't imagine continuing to drink knowing the risks involved. It breaks my heart when I hear stories about babies being born with defects because the momma drank or did something.
