I know it's a hard addiction to just stop..no judgment. .just hope u can find the strength..that advice for any mommy struggling

I smoked and when I found out I was pregnant I stopped smoking immediately, then I smoked once in a blue when I was stressed. I haven't smoked in a long time, but I know how hard it is to quit. I was able to quit because I didn't want anything to happen to my son. It is hard though because my husband. Smokes and so do my brother and sister in law and they always smoke around me. I always fight the urge though because my baby boy is more important than smoking a cig. I hope you can fight the urge mama.

I smoked with my first pregnancy it ended in a loss not because I smoked other reason. this pregnancy I smoked till I was 6 weeks and stopped I wasn't addicted just did it cuz I was bored and I've smoked 4/5 times since only a puff or two I honestly don't see any problem with it both my sisters and mom smoked and were all healthy and none of us were born early or have any problems that aren't related to genetics

You can message me if you want. I found out I was pregnant really late and I found out that quitting cold turkey could be more deadly than continuing to smoke. This info came not only from a fellow preggie member but I also asked my doctor. I'm not defending it by any means, it's a nasty habit but I've since cut way way down almost to nothing. My baby has no issues, I'm 33 weeks and he's measuring 2 weeks ahead and his movements are crazy strong as well as his heart rate. I listen to his heartbeat every other day on my Doppler just for peace of mind. I didn't realize how insanely hard quitting cigs was going to be. I'm not gonna lie I feel extremely guilty. So much so that I constantly wanna cry about it. But I'm almost to my due date and I can't change anything now. Babe is growing perfectly and I know he won't have a low birth weight. Anyways like I said if you wanna message me you can! I don't want any judgment from people on here...I know how bad it is and I DO feel bad. But like i said what's done is done. Yes I should have quit earlier and I didn't but thankfully everything seems to be okay.

@mommy.to.be.041016, I just hate it when other people tell me to quit when one they are smoking or two they used to smoke it like when I'm ready I will otherwise shut your face cause the outcome isn't going to be pretty I will admit my husband smoked alot so it hard for me to just quit and slack off them I smoked like crazy with my first two and they are so damn smart not funny my 2 year old knows her abc and count to ten my 9 months is almost walking with this pregnancy I have slacked off alot due to my girls keep me chasing after them lmao they keep me inline lmao

My mom smoked while pregnant with me & my twin sister & brother & ended up having us all early, I only weighed 4 pounds 9 ounces & was born a month early and I think the smoke made me have serious eye problems & I almost died at birth , I was jaundice & I have bad lungs now. I guess everyone is different though. I definitely did not want to risk it for my son on the way.

My mother smoked with all 3 of us and each of us was born before 34 weeks and had to stay in the hospital for several days-weeks. And we were all very very small (under pounds). Be healthy for your baby!

I did to be honest but I didn't know I was pregnant till about two months in but sometimes yes I still smoke just not like I use to it seems harder to quit since my anxiety has flown out the roof now so I smoke one only when im stressing .

yes I smoked with both my little girls and nothing was wrong with them and I'm smoking now with my third I have slacked a whole lot then with my other two pregnancy when people tell me I need to quit I look at them well you need to quit as well

My aunt smoked with her son during the whole thing but smoked lights insteaf. theres nothing wrong with his immune system of anything. same with my best friend she smoked regular camels and no health concerns but shes still pretty young. theres other stories that people have hade theyre babies immune system not be good enough on there own and other born really premature. but thats all the knowledge i know of who people who smoke while pregnant. i used to but quit a month prior of conceiving. so its entirely up to you.

i smoked for like 5 years before i was pregnant, and into my pregnancy for a little while just cut down a lot, it was really hard for me to fully quit. i used to smoke a pack a day. i switched to one of those vape pens. it took a while to fully switch over but my OB said there aren't any bad side affects with it, and you can lower the nicotine as you go until you dont need it anymore thats what i recommend if you're still trying to quit 😊

I've had the same pack for 5 months now. I've let myself have one when I've been really stressed which has worked out to one every two months. I always feel pretty guilty afterwards.
