I'm debating whether or not to get the whooping cough vaccination are any of you ladies getting it why or why not?

Yes I'm absolutely getting it and anyone in my family or my SO's family that wants to be around the baby has to get it too

I got it. It can be really dangerous for a newborn to catch it and it gives them some carryover immunity to it. I'm making my fiancée get one too just to be safe.

I am absoutly getting again! I'm not putting my baby in danger. its so easy for them to get whopping cough I don't see any reason why you wouldent get it . it is very important

I'm getting it because my little brother caught it at 10 days old..had full blown pneamonia and stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks..I cant risk that much of close contact with the baby.

Nope. If the doctor says it isn't mandatory I don't get it. My mom had a severe reaction to the shot and ended up in the hospital..

I'm getting it. I don't see a reason not to. Whooping cough can be fatal.
