I just went shopping for this family whose house burnt down. I only shopped for the two little boys.. I never met these people. they have a gofundme account. would it be weird if I asked for the hand me downs for my son? the clothes are so cute!

I'm sure they would let you have the hand-me-downs, but they might benefit from selling clothes later. especially if their house burned down and they need $$
I don't think that would be weird.. You are the one paying for them. It's not like your giving them hammy downs! You're giving them brand new clothes and then asking if you can have the hammy downs. I would be like "of course!!" If I was those people :)
my son is only 3 months and the boys are 2t 3t lol. I think my bf would be mad. plus I don't want my son to be spoiled with all new clothes
Just buy your son the same outfit he'll grow into them. I wouldn't ask for them as a handy down that's just me and by the way that was an amazing thoughtful thing you did. @momma_beffers
