Moms, We are watching all new accounts after these new spam accounts. Please don't engage with a suspected spammer. Please tap complain and write "fake." It bans them faster. Once banned, the phone should be blocked from re-entering. Security is important to us and we are working to fix this situation immediately. Thanks, Preggie_USA
A Statement from Mom.Life: Hey everyone! Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things: First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to be a community open any supportive to *almost* everyone, but there is no grey area here for us. Those that would victimize children are not welcome in Mom.Life, period. Any behavior by any user that appears to be involved these activities will result the account immediately being banned from Mom.Life, and may result in the user being reported to the authorities. Secondly, there is no indication that any pictures from Mom.Life users were, or have ever been, taken from Mom.Life and shared outside the network for abusive or exploitative purposes. We take this EXTREMELY seriously and take proactive security measures beyond most other social networks to assure this does not happen. If we ever learn this has happened, we will alert you immediately. Specifically regarding the incident last night, the user in question did not download any pictures from Mom.Life, and only asked for such pictures to be sent to them. This is, however disgusting to us, not a crime where this user lived, so Mom.Life would be violating our privacy agreement with all of you to send their information to the authorities. Mom.Life does not share personal user information with anyone, to protect all our moms. Exceptions are only made for explicit criminal activity that threatens a user or someone else in the community, or repeated offenses that appear illegal in nature; the user last night, for instance, will be reported to authorities by Mom.Life if they ever try to join Mom.Life and engage in this activity again (and we're watching for them). Additionally, we were told that multiple users did contact the authorities, and we will fully cooperate with any investigation. If you see any behavior on Mom.Life that appears to be involved with the abuse or exploitation of children, please report it immediately! Depending on the nature of the offending behavior and where the user lives, Mom.Life may or may not be able to report it to authorities ourselves, but you are always welcome and encouraged to report what you believe to be child abuse. We will always fully cooperate with authorities to keep creeps off Mom.Life and behind bars. Thank you again to the moms who reported this incident last night for making Mom.Life a safer community for everyone! ~Lovingly (but seriously), 🎆mom.life_usa✨
Moms, Due to recent concerns brought to us by other users, we would like to announce that we will be adding a new feature to the mom.life app. This new feature is currently being worked on by our developers, and the release date should be relatively soon. We have had several concerns about users screenshotting posts, and sharing those posts outside the mom.life app. We do not tolerate this type of behavior, as it is a direct violation of our community guidelines. Per the new feature, you will now be notified each time a user screenshots your post, photo, or profile page information. This should eliminate all concerns about photo safety, as well as bullying in other apps. We have been internally able to detect these issues. We have also removed several users who have been apart of these situations, and will continue to do so. Please note that we do our best to make mom.life the safest community possible, and only encourage you to share things you are comfortable posting. 🧡mom.life_usa💙
Dear all, Our vibrant community is growing. The app is serving a significantly more diverse group of moms than before, much to our delight! Considering that and our broader purpose, we decided to change our name to mom.life, after listening carefully and consulting with a few of you:) This reflects our dedication to support all women, who are united by maternity, and their range of common interests and needs. We are committed to continued support of preggies in their transition to new moms - and to welcoming all the new moms who were not with us when they were pregnant. We are totally psyched to take that special place that we built together with you as Preggie into the future! Many great things - including new partners, features and products are coming soon. The branding of the app, our blog and the social media pages changes accordingly, effective today. Thank you so much for your support and being part of the community. Best wishes, mom.life.usa

Serious question though, what if someone gets a new phone with a number that is already banned but they had nothing to do with the fake profiles?
