I've got to say one thing that drives me nuts is seeing all these women being given an induction date before they are even 40 weeks...one of the big reasons I'm going through a birthing center for everything. Doctors are so impatient. My midwives won't induce me or attempt anything until 41 weeks and 6 days. They informed me that 90% of women go into natural labor by 42 weeks. I understand sometimes it's medically necessary but other times, let's be real. They just don't trust in the human body anymore.

it's just asking for more complications...you can't force our bodies into something and expect it to go well. they will do it when they are ready. simple as that. and If they absolutely don't then there's obviously something internally wrong, but why ruin a good thing. I'll never understand @machelle137

yeah, that's terrible. I'm sorry you had to go through that:( it's so common though...most doctors just panic at first sight.

I had to be induced at 39 weeks because I had gestational diabetes I was in labor for 40 hours and ended up having to have emergency c section I didn't know until after I had her I didn't have to be induced.. I will never be induced again it was the worst experience of my life I'm glad my baby is healthy but it's defintly not how I pictured my labor. It also increases your chance of having c section too which I didn't know :( @addi-maesmama
