Hello Mommies. I have a question my baby is 4 months and I'm exclusively breastfeeding bit today my menstrual cycle started. Is this normal? I thought it wouldn't start until I introduced solids? Have any Mom experience this? How did the baby react to your hormones changing.

My mom exclusively breastfed all her kids and she would always get hers 3 months pp (she has 4 kids). I'm breastfeeding exclusively every two or three hours and I got mine back at 4 months pp. so I think everyone is different!
probably a growth spurt then. or teething it happens. I did a lot of research because I wanted to use breastfeeding as birth control method.
@madelynnb, yea she started sleeping through the night and I started working. However I'm still pumping at work and last night baby girl actually woke up every 3 hours to feed which I found strange since she sleeps through

if your baby sleeps through the night or eats less than every 4 hours at night then you will most likely get your period back sooner
one of my friends didn't get theirs back until baby was almost 2. another for gets back 7 weeks p.p and I have only had occasional spotting and I'm 7 months pp.
it's different for everyone some people get there periods back right away others it takes along time.
Yeah I was told in a breastfeeding class you won't get your period for a while if your breastfeeding. But it could be it
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
